I've been there the past 3 years and it is much more aimed at Canadian's from the sound of it (I wasn't there in 2006). There is Canadian food, wine, beer, Tim Hortons, and the Canada Shop has a stall,, a floor hockey tournament etc. Mixed in with that is the stalls with the tourism information and such from the sponsors.

It isn't much different from most events in Trafalgar Square (you can only create so much atmosphere in a space like that). It is the largest celebration of Canada Day outside Canada, and fingers crossed they always seem to luck out on the weather.

I'm looking forward to a little Blue Rodeo this year but my favourite part is singing O'Canada at the very end. :)

I'm thinking of coming into London in the early-evening, mostly because I want to see Blue Rodeo. My little boys (4 and 5) like telling people that they're half-Canadian so I think that they'll get a kick out of being there too.

The last time I went was 2006 and I remember being really disappointed so hopefully it will be better!

Yes I am definitely trying to make plans to get there. See how it goes I guess.
