CANADIA CAR BACK TO CANADA

I have a Canadia VW car 2006, I brought it to USA in 2008 but I want to bring it back to Canada and give to my brother as a gift. Is there anyone know if I need to pay something in the border, or before, or after to "reimporting" my car?

You do not have to "reimport" it since it was at one time in canada, but you do need to "export" it from US, by contacting the CBP POE that you will be passing thru BEFORE you go.
