Hi, I am a Canadian trade school graduate with a Wireless communication Technician diploma last year, have worked in related field for about half a year. My gf is a american citizen and lives in California, I want to move there and start living with her ASAP, will this diploma qualify for a TN visa ?

Possibly, take a look at the Scientific Technician profession. They are also called science technicians/engineering technicians.

Make sure you ask INS or whatever they call themselves now. Or you risk of being detained at the border/airport.
A Canadian friend on a student visa married a US citizen and forgot to tell the authorities, and she was detained in Hawaii for several hours, LOOK IN TO IT!

I don't agree with this. I don't think there is an affirmative duty to disclose to CBP that you have a U.S. Citizen girlfriend or wife; you don't have to be a confessor, unless its a material fact. Is it material to your eligibility for a TN or as a visitor? No, unless AT THAT TIME of entry you do not EVER intend to return to Canada and the U.S. Citizen sponsors you for an immigrant visa and you file for adjustment.

Of course if CBP asks whether or not you have a U.S. Citizen girlfriend or wife, then you must answer honestly.
