Canadian Couple moving to Paris

My boyfriend and I are moving to Paris in the early summer months.we've both been there before, but this will be the first time we try to get jobs, etc. We've looked into some vacation rentals, but we figure waiting until we get there will likely save us some hefty Agency Fees (which can run upwards of 15% of TOTAL rent). That is unless of course we find a suitable roommate(s).

I basically just want to touch base with people living there already, no particular reason other than alliances.and maybe some drinking buddies at the Moose or the Beaver! (if you don't know what these are, ASK because trust me, you want to).

Also, for any Canadians who are already living in Paris.we are going to be bringing our softball gloves and hopefully trying to start something!

Wow. Most people move this way.... but some do go the other...it should be a good experience
