Canadian Expat Association seeking Regional Contacts

The Canadian Expat Association website is undergoing a significant upgrade and to go with the new site we are seeking volunteers to become Regional Contacts around the globe.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to learn more about the local Canadian community, meet with Canadian business leaders and speak with members of the Canadian diplomatic offices (DFAIT).

What we are looking for:
A Canadian Expatriate that is willing to volunteer as a Regional Contact for the city/region that they currently live in.

Candidate must be:
Canadian citizens living in the US
Willing and able to speak in public on behalf of the Canadian Expat Association
Keenly interested in learning about the Canadian community in their region
Excited about the opportunity to speak with Canadian business and diplomatic leaders in their region


Must be willing to:
Become the eyes and ears on the ground for the CEA in their region.
Upload information about Canadian organizations and businesses in their region (& Canadian "Hot Spots").
Moderate a group specifically set up for their region on our website.
Contact the Canadian organizations, embassies & consulates (DFAIT) with information about the CEA
Field (or direct) questions pertaining to the Canadian Expat community in their region rom media and other expats.
Feed the CEA with information about life in their region
Feed the Canadian community in their region with information about the CEA
