Canadian having a baby in New Zealand

Post Fri Jul 22, 2011 10:21 pm

Hi our son is married to a Canadian, they want to come an live in New Zealand at the end of the year. When they arrive she will apply for Permanent Residency. They are expecting a baby in February and want to have it here. Can anyone help with how we will go about doing this. Thanks

be very carefull about having a baby overseas... if the relationship ever goes sour he will have no rights in taking his baby back to canada, and will be trapped in new zealand. not a very good situation, better to have it in canada where the standard of living is much higher
