Canadian in Cannes

Hello. I am a therapeutic massage therapist trying to find work in the South of France. I learned that the massage therapy world is not the same as that in Canada. Does anyone have any advice for finding work? I am not too keen on doing relaxation massages everyday. Also if there is anyone else in the area, it would be nice to make some friends
