Canadian in Nord-Rhein Westfalen

I will be moving to the Padaborn area at the beginning of January 2007 as my hubby is British forces. Where are you staying?

I am originally from Belleville, Ontario and miss it so much. I try to get back once a year but I have found that flights from Germany are more expensive then in the UK where I have been for the last three years.

I lived in Germany for 2 years before, about half hour north of Hannover and wans't very keen, so I am not looking forward to going back.

you said that your girlfriend is german and that you moved to germany to work and stay with her. my boyfriend and i have the same problem. he is canadian and i am italian living in germany. he wants to come here but we have no idea how to make it work because of the job situation. how did you find a job? can you give us some advice?

Hello, I am Canadian and I have been here in the Koln area for the last 5 years, I have 2 kids, my husband is German. I am originally from Alberta but a resident of BC I am also interested in meeting other Canadians that live in the area. I am also going back to Canada for the summer but will return when school starts.
