Canadian in Southern France

Post Sun Nov 21, 2010 2:34 am

Hello, the names Anna-Lilja. Friendly young canadian looking for friends in southern France. Hopefully near Aix-en-Provence.
I love to go out shopping, walking, running, sports and the cinema. Anything really, just to be out and about.

Are you still in the south of France? How are you liking it?

We want to move there with our our family of 4, buy a Bed and Breakfast, and start a new life in better climate. We have Hungarian dual Canadian citizenship, and have only begun learning to speak French. Would we be able to survive on English and learn as we go. We wouldn't need work right away, would spend 6 months travelling to find a good town to relocate to.

Any advice would be of interest to us.

The Adventurous Canadian,
Eva

Are you still around Aix? I split my time between Aix and Marseille. I've met a few anglophones but not a lot of Canadians yet.
