Canadian looking at moving to the US

Hi everyone,

I'm considering moving in with my boyfriend who lives in MA. I live in Ontario Canada.

I'm a Vocational counsellor which would qualify under some temporary visa. He's a Quality Assurance Auditor for a medical company.

My questions are:
1. Would it be easier for me to move there, or for him to move up here?
2. Is there a brochure, checklist or something that outlines what one needs to do to move to the USA?
3. What kind of turn around times are we looking at? (I know this is a dangerous question.so time 'frames' are fine)

One major question not answered by your post is your boyfriend American or Canadian? Makes a big difference on your options.
