Canadian marital status??

Hi There,

My British fiancee and I will be going to Canada to get married in March and while I know this has been touched on in other posts, I was wondering if anyone had any difficulty when submitting a record of Solemnization as evidence of marital status - There have been a few instances where its been mentioned that it was accepted, but has anyone had this rejected? or if anyone has any information about spousal settlement visas that hasn't been mentioned, that would be great too!
