Canadian on a TD & Time Spent in the US

Hi,

I am a Canadian living in the United States under TD status (my husband is working on a TN).

If I were to return to Canada to work, staying out of the United States for 3 months (or more), would I be hassled upon my return? Am I required to physically be in the US for a certain percentage of the year in order to be eligible for my TD status?

My apologies if this is a ridiculous question, but I like to be cautious.
