Yeah. Too many questions. It's not the length of any one visit. It the length of all his visits and how little time he is spending in canada.

Does he have any say in all this? Sounds like he should be looking for work in canada instead of sniffing around the US "shopping".

I will give you crdit though, as a woman, you aren't following the typical profile usually seen here, where the woman gives up everthing to live illegally in the other country "just to be with him".

Make him do the work! You are both young. I guess men just get smarter later.

I called the border patrol in new york and the one in bellingham and they both said the same thing.. to not really worry about it canadians go in and out in the u.s all the time as long as there is no proof of him working or trying to work in the u.s then he should be ok.

Yeah, they like to entice kids to come to the border with answers like that, and then nail them there. kinda makes their day.

you think?
I asked her how accurate she was and what if the border patrol in the airport is different and she said you can go on a website if you don't believe me..
she said she wasn't worried about the last couple of days he stayed in seattle, l.a or when he would go shop for a couple of hours in the u.s and go back (thats what i was really worried about if that counted in the 6 months) but she said she was more concerned about him with the longest stay here which was in june up until now... but still she said he would be okay.

just try to be back within the next couple of weeks.

I actually know quite a bit of ppl i went to high school with in canada (im canadian myself) that became a border patrol officer and they tell me that being hard is really just a front that they do.

Cdn border officer and US border officer are two differnt things. Not too many Cdns become US boredr guards, so you may have been speaking to the wrong people.
