I've planned a somewhat last minute trip to the Netherlands, from the UK. I'm a Canadian, living in the UK on an ancestry Visa. Here's the deal:
1) The Canadian travel website says that the Netherlands requires you to have a passport that is valid for three months after your planned departure date. Mine expires three months and 1 day after my planned date of departure.
2) My UK ancestry visa, which is pasted directly into my passport is valid until 2012.
3) I'm only there for one night, and have my return plane ticket to prove it.
Does anyone ahve experience with this, and think I'm going to get hassles? I'd hate to have thrown away the money on a plane ticket. I need to get to Le Mans to see the race!
(And yes, don't tell me, I know I should have thought this through a little more.)
Thanks for any help,
Chris
