Canadian Passport issues for 457

Hi all,

So, I don't know if this is going to be an issue or not. The company I am going to work for recently filed my 457 application based on my current passport. However, my current passport is damaged, and I need to apply for a new one. This will take approx 2 weeks or so. When I get my new passport, the number will have changed. Is this going to cause any issues for my application process?

I know this is a confusing situation. Was wondering if anyone had any input on it.

You need to let them know the number ASAP or the visa will not be processed. Call the business office in the city the Sponsorship was launched.
