Just reviewing the comments and someone said that most people don't have problems filling out the form. Just checked the with Passport Canada and the passporthelp company was right, 30% of all applications are rejected but it is higher for Canadiens living in the US. $100 is cheap when you consider you get your passport fast, with no problems and won't get turned back at the airport. Going back in June to pick up my Montreal bagels in Ottawa. By the way my favorite place there is Kettleman's Bagels. They even send them down to me but the
shipping charge is a killer but worth it when you miss home. They even send Schwartz's smoked meat! hope I am allowed to mention those businesses. Funny I don't miss Timmy's but then again it is owned by American's.

I am originally from Montreal but call Ottawa home. I mentioned my favorite place Kettleman's in Ottawa and are as good at St. Viateur or Fairmont. I live in the middle of the California desert working for the military. So any cravings for home have to be delivered. Question to my expat friends; what small businesses do you miss living in the US? I know most people miss their fav food places but I am sure there are others. I believe in helping small businesses unlike some other people on this blog.
