Canadian resident while working in the US? is it possible?

I recently moved to the US from Canada and I would like to retain my residence in Canada while working on a TN visa here; does anyone know what are considered as significant residence ties with Canada? I have kept my house in Canada that I rent out now, I've also kept my bank account to be able to pay my mortgage, I will pay my rental income tax soon; is that enough to consider myself as a Canadian resident?
