I am a Canadian. I want to move to the states and work as the industry I work in [Tattoo and Piercing] is alot more advanced and better in the states than in Canada. And pretty much live there permanently. How can I go about this?

My grandfather was American. As is my mom's aunt, is there any way that that can help me? Or is there some other route I should be taking?

I've looked thru all the visa info and such on the govt site but it makes no sense to me really. Can any of you help me?!

If your grandfather is still alive he can sponsor your parent, and then your parent can sponsor you, which will take years.

Or if you start up your own business you can do E-2, but it requires a substantial investment.

If you are distinguished in the field, maybe an O-1 (artist). Check to see if either of your parents had U.S. or dual Citizenship, remember that you grandparents may have transmitted Citizenship to your father, and him to you.
