Canadian Studying in UK

Hello,

I'm a canadian student travelling to the UK for one semester (<6 months). I'm wondering if I need I visa if I don't intend to work while I'm there. I've been looking around but I can't seem to find a conclusive answer.

If you are just going to visit (holidays) the UK for less than 6 months you do not need a visa however, if you are going in the UK to study you will probably need a student visa.
