Hello all,

I will be moving to China soon and I am looking for info on becoming a Canadian expat.
Do you guys know how it works with the taxes? I can't afford to pay taxes in two countries.
I know that to be considered a non-resident of Canda I can't have any ties to this country. Does that mean I have to close all bank accounts as well?

If anyone can give me som insight into this, I appreciate it.

Cheers all

David Ingram with Centa is a well known international tax specialist. At the least you can sign up on his mailing list and get really informative emails or if you want to pay it is a little expensive but I think he goes for $300 - $500 per hour.
