Canadian Traveling to England with Two passports

I have lived in Canada fro 50 years yet have just received my UK passport( Born in England). I plan on traveling over to England for 8 weeks in January. Which passport should I use and why?

Because you aren't intending to live in Europe ,it doesn't matter if you use/take your UK pp or not. using your Cdn one will be fine.

Consider: You were always a UK citizen, and your birthplace was always on your Cdn passport, and you had no problem before using Cdn pp to enter UK, so there should be no problem now, either.

Use your Cdn one to come back, since you live in canada.
