Canadian with TN visa crossing border with US Vehicle

I am a Canadian citizen living in Windsor and working in the US on a TN visa. The company I work for has offered me a company car that is presently leased. This car cannot be imported and will be insured in the US. The insurance company has OK'd me driving the car and keeping it garaged in Canada. I called BIS and of course they told me that the car must be imported and licensed because I reside in Canada. Does anyone know of any way that I can cross the border with a company owned car. I have applied for a Nexus card that I am hoping will help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
