I have been out here in scottsdale arizona for the past 5 years and i got a question .. i would like to know how many other women out there that are canadians and are living in the usa and can NOT work due to the visa they carry ...

what visa do you have that doesn't allow you to apply for an employement authorization?

I just got my EAD the other day, now I just have to go apply for my SSN and start job hunting. Oh Yeah! Razz

The US offers residence permits for spouses of temporary workers. These do not allow employment. Even volunteer work can be risky for the foreign permit holder.

I have an H$ visa and am unable to work Sad. What am I going to do when my child is in school...twittle my tumbs..LOL!!!
