Canadian Working in Australia for over 3 months

Hi everyone,

I found the Working Holiday Visa form which allows Canadians to visit and work for 3 months max. I found employment in the 6-12 month period range and i'm wondering if theirs another form or process to go through in order to work for this time period?

I'm not sure where you've gotten your information. A working holiday visa is good for 12 months from the date of entry, and with it you can work for up to 6 months with one employer (and then you could work another 6 months with another employer).

If you do 3 months (or more) of specified work in regional Australia while you're on your 1st working holiday visa, you would then qualify to apply for a 2nd working holiday visa (which has the same conditions).

Addition to this note is that you can apply for a second WHV until you are 31. Once the clock strikes 31, no more WHV.

Thank you very much for this information. You did a great job for this. I want to enter Australia and its hard to get a visa. Hope that more information will be post in this thread.
