Canadians gathering in Auckland!--BBQ time

For all you Canadian expats:


The Canadian Club is hosting its Christmas BBQ on December 2 at Coyle Park in Point Chev. 2 pm to 6 pm. Its a great chance for us Canucks to get together for a little northern hemisphere style fun. There will be games for kids and adults, and don't forget to bring your guitars, frisbees, volleyball nets, and a $5 present for the "Steal the Present " game.

Extra entertainment: A puppeteer has been invited, and Santa is expected to make a visit.

We’ll provide: Hot dogs, salads, soft drinks

How much: Free for members
For non-members its $10 per family.
if not members its time to join!

If its rains, I will post a cancellation notice here. You need to RSVP to the Canadian Club so they can get the catering numbers right. I suggest you notify me and I will forward on the info, as I am not comfortable posting someone's personal email address on here.

PS This might also a good time to sort out who's going to be on our softball team for the annual Canadian Club vs American Club Softball Match. As last years winners, the Canadians are responsible for hosting the event this time which will take place in March. Stay tuned and get your batting arm in shape!
