Canadians in Bahrain

My wife and I will be moving to Bahrain in September and have always lived in toronto. Just wanted to see if there was any canadians living in Bahrain and if they could share how living there is. Also how the readjustment was.... We are looking forward to our move as we will just be newly married... Look forward to hearing from everyone

Did you move to Bahrain? My husband and I are thinking about it, there's an opportunity at the moment. Not sure about the political situation. I've been reading the threads on the British expats web site ... not sure what to make out of it.
