Canadians in Bedford?

Hello everyone,

I've been living in Bedford for almost 4 years now and have yet to meet a fellow Canadian! Are there any Canadians living around here? I just bought a flat in this area. Not only am I stressed out about buying a shoe box to live in that cost more than my mother's 3 bed/bathroom condo back home, I'm worrying about making this 'official' commitment.

Was out yesterday and wore a jacket that had CANADA written in bold letters on the back and I actually had three people ask me if I was from the States!?! Could really go for a Timmies right now!

It's easy to counter that - just ask them if they're from Wales!

I do not live too far from Bedford. I am living in Milton Keynes right now. I know what you mean about the amount of money vs the amount of home you get. We bought a three bedroom detached house that is smaller than my brother in Oakville's 2 bedroom townhouse. I am constantly looking for the hidden rooms.
