I moved to the UK from Toronto in June to a small village just outside Blackburn. Not coping very well in the small town. Are there any Canadians anywhere from Manchester to Liverpool?

Moved from Toronto to Birmingham one year ago. Now having to relocate to Manchester. Would be great to meet up with other Canadians!

Hello, I too am from Canada. Vancouver actually and am living in a village called Milnrow. We're about 20 mins north east from Manchester city centre, not too far from Blackburn actually. So maybe we can have a Canadian get-together some time! I've been here for almost 2 years but was back home for a few months (long story) but I know what it's like to be in a smaller town compared to the bigger city where I'm from, though I really have gotten used to it. I guess I miss family and friends the most.

Did you get the big snowfall like we did last week? I'd have to admit I loved it :)
