Canadians in Bratislava or surrounding area?

Hi there,
I am living in Bratislava, born in Ontario, spent 8 years in New York before moving here in November of 2007 with my boyfriend who was born and raised here until he moved to the US for 17 years. We came here for a vacation in 2007 and decided to relocate however I am homesick for english - speaking people who just understand what it's like to come from a western way of life. I know there are other posts similar to this but they are so old that I hoped starting a new one would draw a little more attention.
If there is anyone out there, I'd love to hear from you, post or pm works for me
