Hi,

Just got here a few days ago, staying in Easton for a month or so.
If anyone is up for going out or doing something let me know. I'm 32 and just here to write some music, so can get a little boring at times.

Hi,

I moved to Bristol about a year and a half ago. My husband is English and we have just bought a house here. I am finding it really difficult to meet people and was hoping this may help. I have just started my first full-time grown up job (ahh) and this has been a big adjustment for me as I have worked/managed bars since attending university and my year abroad in France. I am a very social person, I find that I have really struggled for teh first time. I have joined a gym, and was hoping to try the 10km race here in Bristol in May. If anyone is interested in a running partner (mind I am a beginner) I live in Downend.

Hello, I have just moved to Bristol and I'd love to meet up with some Canadians for a coffee or maybe a bike ride.

Hi everyone!

I'm a Canadian living in France with my daughter. We've been here for almost 10 years and want a change. I'm looking into the UK Ancestry visa and life in/around the Bristol area.

I'll be in Bristol during the upcoming school half-term to investigate a little more - does anyone have any suggestions?

Any information about which areas of the city are nicer, any information about schooling (she's currently in 3ème doing her brevet this year) any contacts for recruitment, basically, any help or advice gratefully received!!! (I'm in IT/Project management ~15 years exp if that helps)

Many many many thanks! And maybe I'll make it for a coffee with some of you one day! :D

Hi all you Canadians in Bristol! I am from England and have been living in Canada but have finally managed to sway my husband to moving to the Bristol / Somerset area. Does anyone have any advice or contacts in the IT industry? My husband has a background in Data Warehouse and Business Systems Analysis - he's a great consultant. We have been told to contact Project People but that is the only link so far.
Hope everyone's still enjoying their time over there - and thanks for any help guys!
