Canadians in Düsseldorf

Hi there. I moved to Wuppertal (just outside of Düsseldorf) from Thunder Bay, Ontario at the end of December and occasionally feel that pull of homesickness. I'm slowly learning German and also meeting new friends who speak English. I would love to meet some fellow Canadians though. If there are any Canadians living close by, drop me a PM.

Hello! I will live in Dusseldorf for 2 months, june and july and then move to some other palce in germany to study for a year. I am from Mexico but I also speak english and german. I think it will be a good idea to stay in touch for anything, opr just to speak english with someone while we are in germany, hearing german all day might be a little bit boring and stressfull dont u think?

Hi I am new to this site and new to the forum as well. I am Canadian from BC and I moved here recently. I will also be studying German in July and August. I have been to Germany many times before and I know a lot of his friends and family, but I feel like I need my own friends and my own activities. Anyone want to meet up it would be great!

Hi guys! I'm from Vancouver and have been living in Essen for 5 months now. It's not so bad, but at times I do get a bit homesick. I love my job though and have done a lot of travelling around. That said I'd love to meet some other Canadians and chat each other up.
