i used to live in grenoble and i just moved to paris for work two weeks ago. but i still spend my weekends in grenoble.
i have been trying to find a canadian in grenoble for the past 2 years, and just when i moved out of there, there's your posting Smile
anyways, if you're studying there you shouldn't have problems finding canadians or americans in town. otherwise, good luck Smile
my email is torboyjj@hotmail.com if you want to meet up for a drink or something on weekends !=)

Any Quebeckers in France who gave non French speaking Canadians a tough time now being looked down upon for not speaking Parisian French? I would like to say ha ha ha to you as you know what it is like to now take the snobbery from the other end of the stick! I love it. What I love even more is seeing a British Citizen who speaks perfect Parisian French and places the Quebecker in his or her place, telling them that they don't speak either English or French as good.

Now now, lets not generalize. Some people are seperatists, some are not. Don't get carried away.

I was in Grenoble from January to June 2005. it was some awesome time.

If you want to meet Canadians and Americans just go around the bars. The London Pub is where I met my first friends. there is so many bars in the center you should be okay to find some people from Canada. There is a lot of Quebec students there (I was one of them). It's a very popular city for students exchange from Quebec.

Hi, I've been in Grenoble for about 7 months now having a great time, but I've been really anxious to meet other Canadians. Therefore, finding this site was a nice surprise. Smile It'd be great to talk to anyone in the area!

Hello. I am studying in nearby Annecy. If anyone wants a tour of the town, drop on by! I will be here until the end of June.
