Hey brittany; I've been living in dublin for the last 6 years; Meeting a Canadian is a rareity! I think Canadians like to integrate with the culture too much, so we keep a low key!

So the question is then, where do Canadians go? I'm looking for fellow Canadians my age. I'm 25 and live here with my boyfriend, but he's always busy with school.

Just came across this forum. interesting to read for me since I have just started thinking about moving back to Europe - just not sure exactly where I want to go. I have been living in Canada for the past 14 years (I am 32 now) but I have come to the conclusion that I want to move to Europe. I am planning a trip to Ireland (vacation trip) because I was always interested in the country. but I am also thinking about it as a possible living destination. So I want to ask you guys, who have already taken that step of moving there: what is it like living in Ireland? Do you have any regrets? I know that pre-move stuff won't be easy, since I need to get a job before actually being able to get a work permit,. but I am trying to stay positive.

Same here, after +10 years in Toronto, I am looking forward to move back to Europe so any feedback from fellow Canadians about life in Ireland will be just great. I left Europe in 1997 and things have changed a lot since then (hopefully not the vacation time and the lifestyle).

I've been living in Dublin back and forth for the last 2 years, but it's really rare to meet other Canadians. even though they are here.
My bf is finishing his masters and I work.
I really love Dublin, but we live out in Blanchardstown(UGH!) which is so the opposite in every way from the city centre.

I think you'll definitely find there are more Canadians here in the summer months tho because there are direct flights during these months only.
