Canadians in Toulouse?

Hey,

I've been in Toulouse for two and a half years. Just found this site and was wondering if there are any other Canucks in Toulouse wanting to connect that come to this forum.

I'm originally from Montréal, born and raised. Grew up in Deux-Montagnes, on the north shore. For the most part I'm very happy here, living with my french girl friend, but at times I do feel a little homesick. Would be grand to have a canuck friend or two to hook up with.

This will be my third christmas away from my family. Although it's not a big deal, I still feel it.

I'm planning to move to France late this year, with my Japanese Girlfriend. I'm curious as what kind of work you are doing in Toulouse? How do you like i there, nice place?

If I visit there, it would be nice to meet some Canadians so keep in touch.

Hi James! It's been a long time since you posted this so not sure if you're still in Toulouse. If you are, would love to hear from you. I've been in Toulouse since 2007, moved here to be with my French boyfriend. Like it here, but I miss home too!

I am from northern ontario, yep i used to hunt moose, waiting for my motorcycle to arrive by ship, living in Villefagnan with the love of my life, yep she is French from France... can not seem to find any Bud or cold Canadian anywhere ... he they are number 1 oui ???

Any advice to give a family wanting to explore before buying a place and rooting in France. My husband did the motorcycle tour in 2000, on his GSXR 750 with his buddy before hooking up with me! He has always wanted to go back to live in the South of France, and now we are giving it a try!! Very exciting time!

We hold dual Canadian/HUngarian passport/citizenships, do not speak a word of French, but have a pot to buy a home maybe a B&B....
Can you point us in the right direction??

I am a French from Paris, living in Toulouse. I have lived in Vancouver, BC for a while, and i'm now back in France until i finally get permanent residency to move to Montreal. I've been quite homesick of Canada, and i'm trying to find fellow canucks to hang out with.
