I've been in Wales for nearly 14 years. I live in a small coastal town in N. Wales and I know another Canadian here in the same town and also have met two others in nearby towns too. OK - so not alot, but there are a few of us around. I heard that the majority of the Cardiff hockey team are Canadian don't know if it's true though. Very Happy

There are Canadians in Wales although not as many as say London. My Sis lives in Wales in the south.

There are indeed Canadians in Wales - there is a teachers college in Cardiff where Canadians study to become teachers so there's a large group of them there. I gather less than 100, but still - Canadians.

I know the teaching work is harder to secure there than in London, so many of them leave after graduating to either return "home" or move to London.

Hope this helps! Have you looked for a facebook group - ie. Canadians in Wales? You could always make one yourself.

Cheers

I'm from Canada here in Wales (Neath/Swansea area) visiting for a few months - going back home in October and am applying for an ancestry visa so that I can come back here to live and work. I just love all the beautiful places around here but not to fussy for all the rain but can handle that over the -40 + temps we get in Canada. Feel free to contact me.
