Candian passport delays abroad

its not just the passport office, but anything that has to do with citizenship and immigration is horribly backlogged. Its needed an overhaul for several years now.

If you can, your best bet is to probably travel up to Vancouver and get a new passport in a passport Canada office with expedited processing.

Anyway, the reason I'm writing is to let anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area know about the photographer I used for my passport (my photo did not get rejected). I have no affiliation with this photographer, but had a good experience, so wanted to share the info. Grace Imaging at 456 Montgomery Street, San Francisco did my photos.they know about the Canadian requirements and had to take several shots to make sure all the standards were met, but it was worth it. The cost is higher than what you'd pay at Walgreens, but these people know what will get accepted and what will not. Good luck to everyone applying/waiting for your passports.
