Canucks in Copenhagen?

I'm moving to Denmark to be with my family on Aug.8th. Interested in making some new friends when I arrive. My wife and I are in our early 30's and have a 15 Month old Son. We will be living in Cph area. (I am from Montreal, my wife is Danish)

still in Montreal, but moving soon to Denmark, probably mid november.
how's life out there ? I'm a bit stressed, never travelled there and don't know what to expect. so, if anyone wants to share his/her experience, I'd much appreciate.

My husband is planning on doing his post doctoral studies in Copenhagen starting next summer. While this is very exciting, it's pretty stressful, especially since we will be moving with a very young baby! I'm really glad I found this forum, I hope it will make things a little easier.
We are just at the begining of our planning so any type of advice is welcome. My husband is mostly worried about funding for his studies (obviously not something Im expecting to find an answer to on this forum!), while I'm more thinking about finding a place to live, a doctor for the baby, learning danish and finding ways to meet people while in Copenhagen as I know for sure i will lose my sanity if i spend that whole year abroad without contact with other adults!
I see that a couple of you have moved there for grad studies as well. How helpful was the university in terms of helping your relocation?

Monique, sorry for the late reply. I didn't even know this forum is still active. I'm in Montreal right now and I visit my husband in mid-December. How are you adapting to Danish society?
