Hello! I'm new to this forum, as well as to the US. I have been here in the US on a TN visa for 5 months living with my boyfriend (Cdn as well). He's been here 1.5 years on a TN Visa. We are looking into buying a house and heard a rumor about Cdn's needing to fill out specific forms regarding taxes before buying a house otherwise our taxes will be higher? I'm lost on this. Anyone else know anything about this and can provide info? Thanks so much!
