I am looking for information on cell phones for europe. I have just arrived in europe, and cant use my canadian cell phone. I was wondering about pay as you go style phones or something along those lines. If you have any information on that subject it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Yes, your Canadian cell phone will unfortunately not work, as European countries use a different network configuration. You may check on CallinEurope, it is a low cost service, rates seems to be competitive compared to few sources I verified. I saw you do not pay any monthly fees an you can reroute your Canadian number while travelling.
