Cheap (I mean cheap) Language Schools:

Postby bryankcoughlin » Wed Oct 15, 2008 6:51 am

Hi everyone,

I've done some searches but most are outdated. Does anyone have any (current) information on cheap / reasonably priced language schools? I'll be moving to live with my partner and need to start learnin' the language. What school(s) offer a decent teaching system whilst not demanding expensive prices? Please any input! Regardless of where in Germany. She is currently in Kempten but we can relocate at the start of Next Year.

Thanks so much!

I moved to germany and I highly reccomend you learn the language before you come. I had a really hard time finding a class for basic german and I only could find basic grammar which you were already supposed to know german. So I ended up getting a private tutor. Which is expensive but I need the lessons.

You need to hook up with classes at the Volkshochschule, night school, in Germany. German classes are about 150 EURO. They are big classes, but cover the basics.
