I am applying for my first Canadian citizenship card (as a person born abroad to a Canadian citizen after 15 Feb. 1977 and qualifying as a citizen thereby) and need photographs to send in with my application. These are different than passport photos and must be in line with guidelines set out on the Canadian Citizenship website. I am now living in the UK and would like to know---where in Britain can I get these kind of photographs taken? Has anyone else applied for their card from the UK and gotten these photos? I have already written the Snappy Snaps chain and they do not do them. Your help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure I won't be of much help as I'm not in the UK (yet!).however I just did this from the other direction. I am in Canada and needed UK specified photos for my passport.

I went to Walmart's photo station and told them I was needing it for a British passport and they already had that option in their computer. I got 8 photos for $15 perfectly sized. They even knew the rules that applied to the EU passport photos. Do you have a Walmart equivalent chain that does Passport photos? They may have the means to do it if they are quite widespread.

If you are looking for Canadian passport photo size (rather than the British size), there is a list here of approved photographers: http://www.international.gc.ca/canada-europa/un...ide-photos-en.asp
