Companies that will ship self-packed container -

I am wondering if anybody knows of an overseas shipping company that will accept a container that I will pack myself to move to Norway. I already own the 20-ft container that I plan to use.

A moving company, whom I asked for an estimate, called me back and said that since 911, ship lines will not accept any containers not packed by a professional moving company, who will verify the contents.

Is that true???
