confused

hi everyone,

I'm canadian and my bf is an american. We plan on getting married this spring. What is the least complicated way to do this? I'm very confused about K1 visa etc. I would like to be in texas and not be apart while we file the paperwork. Do I have to go back to Canada after we get married? or should we go through the k1 visa? please help...im very confused. I already went on visa journey and I can't find anything for canadians mostly overseas situations...
