Considering a life change...to Tunisia! Help!

Hello!
I am considering moving to Tunisia for a job offer. I was wondering if someone could help me out with a few questions:

Will it be difficult to adapt if I only speak English?
What is the fashion like....will I be able to buy fashionable clothing?
What are the main restrictions on women?
Can I drink there?
Are there many Canadians...is there some sort of group I can join / welcoming group?
My partner will need to find a job....how hard do you think this would be with only English as a language, many years in hospitality industry...might make it easier?
What is the cost of living like....would I be able to live comfortably with a Canadian Salary.....?? Kind of hard to answer without numbers..sorry!

Anything else you can tell me would be much appreciated! Leaving your whole life, friends and family is a big step....I want to make the right decision!
