My wife and I are considering moving to Spain from Canada. We have two boys 10yr and 6yr.
I would internationally on rotation in asia, so I will likely be in Spain less than 180 days a year. Obviously I have some Tax motivations, but don't really know how this is going to work. We want to enjoy the ocean and life of spain, but want a family oriented area away from the big cities. We will also want to rent for a couple years first. I have tried finding long term rentals but with little success.

Anyone with any comments or advice on all I have written above, please reply, I need the help.

My husband is getting relocated to Madrid for 2 years. So we are moving our family, 4 children, 3 girls (5,8,14) and 1 boy (9). We are going to Madrid in May to look at schools and areas to live. We will look in Pozuelo de Alarcon, Majadahonda, Las Rozas, Boadilla del Monte for long term rentals. Any info about schools or areas where other canadians live would be great. I'm sure we'll know more in May and can share then. Very Happy

hello,
I am also thinking of moving to spain. I am going to get the TEFL certificate then try to find a job there. Is it too difficult for a non-european citizen to find a job there?
thank you.
