Funny you should ask - nothing. It looks exactly like northern ontario to me. And then there's lake baikal which is nice, but really similar to lakes in BC (though much larger).

Don't go to russia for the nature - we've got it better in our own backyard :)

I don't think one exists! Even in Moscow and St Petersburg, you're hard pressed to find anyone with more than a very basic level of English at the tourist offices. They seem to only cater to Russian tourists - understandably, but man if they would open up a bit and try to develop tourism for foreigners I'm sure there's a lot to offer. We just couldn't figure any of it out :)
