Criminal record: Going to Disney World Florida

Post Mon Aug 15, 2011 1:22 pm

Hi everyones,

Here is my exact situation, if anyone can help me, I would sleep better...

My wife, 2 daughters (8 and 9 years old) and myself are going to Walt Disney World in Florida from the Toronto Pearson Airport and i have criminal record:

18 years ago, i took some cash in my 1st job cash register and I have been found guilty, had to reimburse and be a good boy for a year. 5 years ago, I have rented a car at AVIS and didn't bring it back on time, they declare the car stolen, I got arrested and i declare myself guilty since my lawyer told me to do so. I have to do a few hours of comunity works and had to be a good boy for a year.

Now, if i have book some disney vacation, will stay on the disney resort with my 2 daughters and my wife, do you think they will deny me the entry in the US ?

I know they can, I wont lie or anything, if they ask me if i have a criminal record I will say yes, and if they ask me why, i'll explain like i just told you guy's why i have those criminal record...

So? What do you think will happen to me and our vacations? Thanks

You will likely be denied entry.

Your Lawyer screwed you. By pleading guilty to car theft, you will be inadmissible to the USA. If you want to be sure, get your court record and make sure of what they charged you with.
