That sounds really nice! I will be graduating to be a nurse in 2007, my boyfriend is from the UK but will be moving to B.C. with me and work there for a few years. But, we both would love to go to Australia and live for a couple years. We're big travellers. Was it easy for you to go down to Australia? I eihter hear how easy it is, or how difficult it is.

Thankyou,

We found the move easy but my husband had a fellowship position here in Sydney and we are here under a visiting academic visa. Because Australia it is part of the commonwealth visas are fairly easy and there are lots of Canadians wandering around. Overall an easy adjustment; Sydney is quite similar to Vancouver, people are very friendly, the weather (unlike Vancouver) is fantastic all year round which makes for an excellent outdoors lifestyle. Lots of swimming and surfing tons of parks and hikes here in the Eastern Suburbs.

Like most things however it's always more expensive then you think so it's good to pad that into your budget.
