either one of you can visit after you're married, provided you prove to the border patrol that you do not intend to stay beyond your legal limit of time, and that you have money of your own to pay for your stay.

If you are planning for an extended period of time in Canada, do you have a job? If you don't have a job, how do you intend to provide the evidence of income on the affidavit of support that is required of a sponsor?
