different standards for day visit?

once someone has been denied for a longer visit because they didn't believe they would return, will they be allowed for a day visit (i.e. shopping, buying gasoline, visiting family) or are the standar...

jeremiah, My dad flew over 2 years ago to pick up a car part, and catch the return flight home 3 hours later and there was no problem (it was surprsingly cheaper to fly and get it than to ship it).

Have you placed this in the wrong forum? Can't imagine anyone flying over for a day to buy gas! Besides the difficulty of getting it onto a plane, it's over twice as expensive here! Smile
